A recent report showed that more homeless families are being placed in
emergency housing than ever.
Emergency housing usually means Bed & Breakfast hotels or places similar. They might get just one room with shared kitchen and bathroom and they may be stuck there for a year or more despite the recommendation being six weeks max. With thanks to the charity Shelter, I visited and spent a little time with two families. My report is out now in the new Private Eye magazine. Just £1.50 with a super cover....
Plus I hope you can grab a copy of the new Time Out London. It has yet another Musical Tribes character.
I spent the day at the recent London Anarchist Bookfair and made a little report on the really, really busy event. I bumped into my friend and talented comic guy, Alex Potts. He was having a curious wander so I had to include him somewhere!
A big, beautiful, hardback book has hit the shops.
312 pages literally crammed with 50 years worth of cartoons and illustrations and I'm extremely honoured to be included in it pages along with some legendary cartoonists and illustrators.
Please do buy one...
"Private Eye – A Cartoon History provides the most comprehensive record ever of the magazine’s contribution to visual humour. Featuring thumbnail profiles of the magazine’s top artists and a cartoonist’s view of the joke-making process, Private Eye – A Cartoon History is a treasure-trove of comedy gold."
