For the record...

The troubles with HMV and physical music at large may not seem a world changing problem. But I tend to regard it as a prominent signpost on the path which humans are taking downhill. It's easy to declare you are a purist who only listens to vinyl or cd but it's even easier to accept the lower cost of music online is tempting.
In this weeks Private Eye, I've used HMV's problem to look at the broader picture. From London's only punk music shop to a classical music shop to a young bands first gig and their thoughts on future releases.
Grab a copy today - only £1.50. Wock 'n Woll!

Speaking of music, here is some!

Commission, my dear Watson!

Firstly, I must admit I'm in the middle of the deepest writers block I've had for years. There's an exciting list of things I need to be doing but just can't find that spark to get my brain working correctly.
Oh 'creativity', why can you be such a bell-end!?!
So it was with great pleasure I received a commission for something I'd never drawn before.
Sherlock Holmes!
It was created to join Mr Davidson's rather impressive collection of Holmes sketches...

I also used it as a chance to test my watercolour skill.

Of course, if anybody out there has a request, I'm more than happy to take commissions. Email me to discuss.
Oui oui. Commandez moi!

2013 predictions....

Not my predictions. The public at the New Years Day Parade in London gave me their thoughts.
Grab the new Private Eye magazine to see what they say and my drawings of pretty London celebrating.

Trog...

On Monday I attended the opening of the fantastic Trog show at the Cartoon Museum in London. It's an inspiring show of a very talented cartoonist. It was a packed night with loads of faces in the room and I had the pleasure of chatting to the man himself.
Try to head along and see the show. The caricatures will blow you away!
And the museum is always worth a visit anyway.
